01
Steel procurement
28MnCrB5 coils from SAIL, Jindal, TATA, ArcelorMittal — with mill test certificates confirming chemistry before cutting begins.
MTC on every coil
02
CNC laser — circle cutting
Disc circles are cut directly from steel sheet using CNC laser. Precise, burr-free blanks with consistent diameter every time.

03
CNC laser — notches & holes
Notch profiles, U-cut scallops, bolt holes, and bore profiles are laser cut in the same or a second laser operation — exact geometry, no tooling changes.
700+ profile types
04
Edge finishing on lathe
Disc edges are finished on the lathe — sharpened bevel profile ground to specification. Ensures consistent edge angle and clean cutting performance in the field.
Consistent bevel profile
05
Gas-fired furnace — heat treatment
8-zone gas-fired conveyor furnace, 10 metres long, 16 burners. Discs are austenitised at precise temperatures as they travel through the furnace on the conveyor — fully automated, no manual handling.

06
Press & quench — one operation
The disc is pressed into its concavity profile and water-quenched simultaneously in a single die operation. Press and quench happen together — locking in 48–52 HRC hardness and flatness in one step. No separate straightening required.
48–52 HRC · Press + quench together
07
Shot blasting
Scale and oxides removed to Sa 2.5 cleanliness in the ADL Blastek shot blast machine. Prepares the surface for powder coating and induces compressive stress at the disc edge.
